雖然不是什么新電影了，應(yīng)該說(shuō)是我落伍了。
但是我還是深深的被電影感動(dòng)了。Bobby / 鮑比。

覺(jué)得是很好的片子，從開(kāi)頭就很緊湊的敘事，用若干人的短暫幾日描畫(huà)一個(gè)事件和一個(gè)時(shí)代的方方面面，而不是一兩個(gè)人的片面。我只是搞不懂為什么片子在douban得到如此低的評(píng)價(jià)，49%四星。我覺(jué)得這個(gè)片子簡(jiǎn)直太棒了。

我試圖將最后一大段的臺(tái)詞自己打下來(lái)。
結(jié)果開(kāi)始打之后發(fā)現(xiàn)竟有這么多，工程浩大，打了好久。
最后一段非常感人，至少對(duì)一個(gè)國(guó)際主義者來(lái)說(shuō)是這樣。
而且最后一段在死亡之后用生前音軌插入的方式，更加彰顯效果。
電影JFK最后，同樣也是一段長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的動(dòng)人的演說(shuō)。
以及，電影最后的音樂(lè)，the sound of silence，歌詞貼在后面了
發(fā)現(xiàn)寫(xiě)了好長(zhǎng)好長(zhǎng)……

現(xiàn)在大概很少有人給一個(gè)政治人物這樣高的評(píng)價(jià)了。
那個(gè)時(shí)代過(guò)去了罷。

What I think is quite clear,

is that we can work together, in the last analysis,

We are a great country, an unselfish country,

and a compassionate country.
充滿激情的And I intend to make that my basis for running, over the period of the next few months.

目前國(guó)內(nèi)無(wú)知的暴力活動(dòng)所帶來(lái)的威脅
which again stains our land
這種威脅又一次玷污了我們的土地
and every one of our lives.
以及我們每個(gè)人的生命
It is not the concern of any one race.
它不僅僅威脅到一個(gè)單一的種族
The victims of the violence
暴力活動(dòng)的受害者
are black and white, rich and poor,
囊括了白人和黑人，富人和窮人
young and old, famous and unknown.
老人和孩子、百姓和顯貴
They are, most important of all, human beings
最重要的是，他們同樣都是人
whom other human beings loved and needed.
被別人深愛(ài)著、牽掛著的人
No one, no matter where he lives
任何人，無(wú)論他住在哪里
or what he does...
為何而生
...can be certain who will suffer
都不知道自己會(huì)不會(huì)成為…
from some senseless act of bloodshed.
這種毫無(wú)意義的流血行為的下一個(gè)受害者
And yet it goes on and on in this country of ours.
但就是這樣的慘劇，在我們的土地上仍然不斷的發(fā)生
Why?

What has violence ever accomplished?
施暴者目的何在？
What has it ever created?
暴力到底給我們帶來(lái)了什么？


Whenever any American' s life
每當(dāng)一個(gè)美國(guó)人的生命
is taken by another American unnecessarily...
莫名地被另一個(gè)美國(guó)人所奪去…
...whether it is done in the name of the law
無(wú)論這種行為是以法律的名義
 or in the defiance of law, by one man or a gang,
還是以法律的名義進(jìn)行的；不論是由個(gè)人還是幫派進(jìn)行的
in cold blood or in passion...
無(wú)論他是冷血?dú)⑹诌€是熱血青年…
...in an attack of violence
也無(wú)論是暴力行為
or in response to violence,
還是以暴制暴
whenever we tear at the fabric of life
這樣的行為，徹底破滅了…
which another man has painfully and clumsily
一個(gè)人嘔心瀝血…
woven for himself and his children,
為他和他的家人編織的美國(guó)夢(mèng)
whenever we do this, then the whole nation is degraded.
這樣的行為，讓我們整個(gè)民族為之蒙羞


Yet we seemingly tolerate a rising level of violence
我們卻似乎一直在聽(tīng)任…
that ignores our common humanity
這種泯滅人性…
and our claims to civilization alike.
公然對(duì)抗我們所宣稱的文明的暴力行為不斷升級(jí)


Too often we honor swagger
我們往往予以認(rèn)同…
and bluster and the wielders of force.
崇尚武力和狂妄自大的人
Too often we excuse those
我們卻往往給予寬容…
who are willing to build their own lives
那些將自己的幸福…
on the shattered dreams of other human beings.
建立在別人破碎的夢(mèng)想之上的人


But this much is clear:
但是事實(shí)顯而易見(jiàn)
violence breeds violence,
暴力滋生更多暴力
repression brings retaliation,
鎮(zhèn)壓導(dǎo)致報(bào)復(fù)
and only a cleaning of our whole society
只有凈化我們整個(gè)社會(huì)
can remove this sickness from our soul.
才能治愈我們的靈魂


For When you teach a man to hate and fear his brother,
當(dāng)你讓別人對(duì)自己的兄弟滋生怨恨
when you teach that he is a lesser man
當(dāng)你讓別人…
because of his color or his beliefs
因?yàn)樽约旱哪w色、信仰
or the policies he pursues...
或者認(rèn)同的理念而自覺(jué)卑微…
...when you teach that those who differ from you
當(dāng)你讓別人僅僅因?yàn)椴煌阂?jiàn)…
threaten your freedom or your job
就隨意威脅他人的自由和工作…
or your home or your family,
或者家人生命的時(shí)候
then you also learn to confront others,
你就已經(jīng)學(xué)會(huì)了視他人…
not as fellow citizens
不為同胞
but as enemies.
而是敵人
To be met not with cooperation but with conquest.
不以相互合作為念
To be subjugated and mastered.
反以暴力征服為樂(lè)


We learn, at the last, to look at our bothers as aliens.
最終，我們學(xué)會(huì)了將同胞視為異己
Alien men with whom we share a city, but not a community.
分享的是同一個(gè)城市的資源，卻不是同一個(gè)社區(qū)的感情
Men bound to us in common dwelling,
生活在同一個(gè)屋檐下
but not in common effort.
卻相互敵視
We learn to share only a common fear,
我們所共有的，只是心中的恐懼
only a common desire to retreat from each other.
相互逃避的欲望
only a common impulse to meet disagreement with force.

Our lives on this planet

are too short.

The work to be done

is too great to let this spirit flourish
卻是如此偉大 我們不能讓這樣的情緒…
any longer in this land of ours.

Of course we cannot vanish it with a program,

nor with a resolution.

...but we can perhaps remember, if only for a time,

that those who live with us are our brothers,

that they share with us the same short movement of life,

in purpose and happiness,

winning what satisfaction and fulfillment they can.

Surely this bond of common faith,
這些信念的結(jié)合
surely, this bond of common goal,
以及這些共同目標(biāo)的結(jié)合
can begin to teach us something.

Surely we can learn, at least,

而霓紅燈廣告牌卻在諷刺地一閃一閃
And the sign flashed out its warning,

And tenement halls.
“就寫(xiě)在貧民們的住房里”
And whisper’d in the sounds of silence.
