故事的主人翁（當(dāng)然是個(gè)GAY）由于小時(shí)候的一次意外被襲（一輛摩托車的上兩個(gè)帥哥無端襲擊了他），從此在心中埋下了陰影的種子。而在他回家后母親對他說的卻是：“下次我希望你能還手！”主人翁長大后，與同性愛人的某次性愛過后他咬了他，并不聽警告接著又咬了他，這使得他的愛人被激怒而出手打了他。但愛人這一粗魯舉動(dòng)卻喚醒了他小時(shí)候被摩托車帥哥襲擊所埋下的陰影，他從中得到了一種前所未有的快感。于是之后主人翁不斷要求愛人打他折磨他，特別是在性愛中虐待他。這種變態(tài)的惡趣味猶如毒癮，讓他欲罷不能。但最要命的是，他要求愛人使他痛苦的同時(shí)并不是只有他一個(gè)人受到傷害，因?yàn)樗诟杏X疼痛之后也會(huì)對愛人還手，可能是母親當(dāng)時(shí)的話對他的影響太深刻緣故。而他的愛人由于無法忍受這種無時(shí)無刻不在發(fā)生的荒謬殘忍的“拳擊比賽”，最終拋棄了他。
被拋棄的主人翁后來與愛人的弟弟成為了情侶，但他還是深愛著原來的愛人。而深愛著主人翁的那個(gè)弟弟，雖然他本質(zhì)的性格無比溫柔（請看兔子那段），但為了他愛著的主人翁，還是默默陪著他反復(fù)玩著這種充滿暴力的搏擊游戲。對主人翁來說，被愛人拋棄后內(nèi)心的傷口只有用肉體痛所產(chǎn)生的快感去暫時(shí)撫平。
影片的最大亮點(diǎn)是只有兩個(gè)人物，故事至始至終都以主人翁的自述為臺(tái)詞，弟弟從頭到尾只說了兩句話。主人翁的愛人雖然一直沒出現(xiàn)過，但卻給觀者一種強(qiáng)烈的存在感，就好像是三個(gè)人一起在演一樣。
故事的結(jié)局非常出色，猶如撥開烏云的一縷陽光：兩人在小河里溫柔地為對方擦拭著身體，弟弟也知道主人翁深愛的還是他的哥哥。但在最后主人翁回來尋找跌倒昏迷弟弟那一幕，其實(shí)整部影片所制造的沉悶壓抑已經(jīng)消退了。觀者不難相信，無比溫柔的弟弟，會(huì)像溫暖的陽光一樣驅(qū)退主人翁心中的陰霾，治愈他心靈的創(chuàng)傷。
